
| |  | | | DESCRIPTION: CITGO CITGARDŽ 500 Motor Oils are high quality, heavy-duty crankcase oils. Manufactured with newest additive technology, these oils provide superior performance in both diesel and gasoline engine service, including turbocharged engines. Designed to effectively combat sludge and varnish formation in the new high-output, low-emission engine designs, these products are formulated to meet heavy-duty truck, agricultural and construction equipment requirements. This is accomplished with a total base number of 8.1 and less than 1% sulfated ash. The viscosity modifier used in multigrades has excellent shear stability to assure that they stay in grade. The viscosity modifier also provides the high-temperature/high-shear rate viscosity necessary to protect vital moving parts such as piston rings and bearings, especially at high operating temperatures. CITGARDŽ 500 Motor Oils are the lubricants of choice for mixed fleets operating on either diesel or gasoline equipment.
