CITGO CITGARDŽ 600 Motor Oils are premium quality, heavy-duty crankcase oils. These oils provide superior performance in high-speed diesel engines, including turbo-charged engines. Designed to effectively combat sludge and varnish formation in high-output, low-emissions engine designs, these products are formulated to meet heavy-duty diesel engine manufacturers' requirements for extended warranties. CITGARDŽ 600 Motor Oils have a higher additive level than standard fleet oils and provide greater protection under the most severe operating conditions, extended service, or poor fuel quality. Specifically, they yield a total base number of 10 with less than 1.1% sulfated ash. The viscosiy modifier has excellent shear stability to assure that multigrades stay in grade. The viscosity modifier also provides the high-temperature/high-shear rate viscosity necessary to protect vital moving parts such as piston rings and bearings, especially at high operating temperatures. Available in both single and multi-viscosity grades, CITGARDŽ 600 Motor Oils offer superior lubrication quality for mixed fleet service. CITGARDŽ 600 Motor Oils are intended for use in the most demanding service in commercial trucks, tractors, construction equipment, and buses. These premium lubricants will provide excellent performance in diesel engines. Their high additive level provides a greater degree of protection and lubricant life over longer change intervals or when using fuels of high sulfur content. The SAE 15W-40 grade will provide fuel-economy benefits over single viscosity grades and permits year round operation in most climates by providing improved cold weather starting while maintaining full lubricating protection at high operation temperatures - important in heavily loaded, high-output engines.
